Seven power engineers injured in Russian attacks on two power facilities

A total of seven power engineers have been injured in recent Russian attacks on two Ukrainian power facilities.

Details: It was reported that one of them is in serious condition. 

„They were sent to hospital by ambulance with injuries of varying severity,“ the Ministry said. 

Background:

On the night of 19-20 June, Russian forces attacked a thermal power plant, which resulted in three power engineers being injured and serious damage caused to the plant’s equipment.
Earlier, Ukrenergo, Ukraine’s national power company, reported that civilian energy infrastructure facilities in four of Ukraine’s oblasts were damaged in the Russian attack on the night of 19-20 June. This refers to Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kyiv oblasts.
